Bio
I believe that students learn best at their own pace and with their own learning style. When giving feedback, I like to start with a positive and then something the student needs to keep working on. My goal as a tutor is to not only help your child understand the skill they need help with but to make sure the content is able to click and be memorable. I am the type of teacher that encourages and sets our victories for the goals each student creates toward their academic growth. I do believe that successful teaching/tutoring comes from having a positive relationship with the student. I like to connect the content I am teaching to an interest of students to help build those connections to take a step closer to their goal. My interests and hobbies outside of teaching would include spending time with my family and reading a good book.

I have been teaching for nine years now. I have taught the following grade levels: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I have my undergrad degree in Elementary Education and I have my masters degree in Elementary Mathematics.
