Hello! Are you ready to have some fun? My name is Mrs. Settles. I have been an educator for 30 years, and I am here to help you with whatever you need. I am a firm believer in hands on and interactive learning. During the sessions, we will assess what you know with the skill and focus on the misunderstandings that you may have to help you become successful. Every learner is unique, and we will work together to find your strengths and your interests so that we can make the skill more relevant to you and your life. I will teach you various tricks that I have learned over the years that you can use to be successful. I believe learning should be fun, and I can wait to work with you!
Teacher Specialization
I was an elementary teacher for 25 years where I worked with every grade level from K - 5th. I also taught at the middle school level for 5 years that included a year of teaching virtually. I have had experience working with students with various disabilities and needs, including 4 years as a Gifted Specialist.
