My name is Ms. Jen and I help students fall in love with learning! I believe every brain has unique strengths and the capacity to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Together we will discover how your brain likes to learn. We will use your personal interests and passions to build understanding of new concepts. What makes you smile? Let's use things that bring you joy to build skills for success in school. We will set goals together each session scaffolding the hard stuff until you feel confident. I will be right by your side every step of the way. I am excited to build a relationship with you by fostering trust to discover how you like to learn!!!
Teacher Specialization
I have been working with students whose brains work differently for 8 years. I have taught students from Kinder thru High School with a full spectrum of brain super powers such as Autism, ADHD, SLD. I specialize in meeting students where they are at and teaching in a way they enjoy. I am trained in ABA, Love and Logic and Non Verbal Communication. I have a Bachelors degree's in both Special Education K-12 and Multi-Subject Elementary K-6. I have also earned a Bachelors degree in Philosophy. In my free time I like to hike, travel and watch football !! Go Vikings!
