Bio
Hello! I am a certified math teacher for grades 5-12. This is my 28th year of teaching! I love to teach and help students get a better understanding of mathematics. I believe “The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.” – Paul Halmos. Everyone has a little different learning style and I will try my best to work with you to gain more confidence in math. I love sports and animals. I also enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and being outdoors. Most of the time I was also coaching varsity or club volleyball for boys and girls when I taught and still continue to do so. I have taken a break from the traditional classroom for the past 3 school years, but I do miss the students and teaching - so I can not wait to work with you!

I have my Master's degree in Secondary Education and earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. Over my 28 years, I have either taught in traditional school settings, a public charter school, or an online school. Previously I have helped students gain a better understanding of 5th/6th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Cal, Calculus, Trig/Statistics and tutored other disciplines (various Sciences/English).
