Hi! I'm Jennifer B. I love to read, travel, and spend time in the great outdoors of Virginia with my husband and four kids. But, my greatest passion is helping students to achieve their educational goals. I believe that students learn best when they have great instruction coupled with encouragement. To me, great instruction means discovering your student's personal learning style and tailoring lessons to meet their individual learning needs. Every learner is unique and I enjoy working with learners of all ability levels. Because I believe it is important to meet students where they are at in their learning journey and provide the care, encouragement, and support to help them achieve their goals, I hope that, during our time together, your student grows not only in knowledge but also in confidence in their ability to achieve their personal best. Teacher Specialization
I have extensive experience teaching various levels of elementary reading, ELA, and high school English classes as well as tutoring students to take the PSAT and SAT (Reading & Writing). I have been tutoring students for the past seven years and hold both a bachelor's and master's degree in education.
