Bio
Welcome! My name is Jennifer Gandee. I believe all children have gifts, some just open them later than others. I love to watch the lightbulb come on for students. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help students discover different strategies to learn math concepts that they may be struggling with in a whole group classroom. I enjoy learning about what works for students and connecting with them to make math fun! At home, I am a mother of four amazing children as long as three dogs! It seems like a zoo sometimes but we love it!
Teacher Specialization
I have been an Elementary Teacher for over 25 years! I also serve as the Instructional Math Lead at my current school for the past three years. All 25 years of teaching I have had a inclusive classroom. From ADD/ADHD to Autism and ESOL students I have a great understanding of meeting students at their level. I have taught graduate level college teachers virtually to help them gain their certification in teaching! Currently my county teaches both in person and virtual on bad weather days. I have a degree in Early Childhood as well as a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
