Bio
Welcome! I’m Dr. Susy Peterson. I split my time between Montana and Florida, and my husband and I are proud parents of three wonderful children. I love being outdoors in the sunshine and playing pickleball whenever I can. I chose tutoring because I’m passionate about helping students grow—both academically and personally. Supporting their progress, building their confidence, and helping them uncover their strengths brings me genuine joy. My goal is to help every student thrive in and beyond the classroom.
Teacher Specialization
I have spent 27 years in education, serving in a range of roles that have shaped my understanding of teaching and learning. I began my career in 1997 as a middle school social studies teacher before moving into the elementary setting, where I taught a combined 2nd/3rd grade gifted class. My background also includes deep experience in personalized and digital learning through my work as a Blended Learning Specialist and as Coordinator/Principal of Online Learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida. I truly consider myself a lifelong learner, and I’m committed to inspiring that same love of learning in every student I work with.
