Bio
My name is Jennifer Strohm. You can call me Ms. Jennifer! I live in Tennessee. My educational philosophy is that all students should enjoy learning and should grow academically as well as personally. My goals as a tutor is to help students enjoy learning. In my experience, students who enjoy learning tend to be the students who improve academically. I want students to know that they are expected to try their best and to grow. I do not expect perfection but I do expect hard work, respect, and dedication. I build relationships with students by being there for them when they need someone to talk to. I show them respect in return and that goes a long way. I let them know that I am there for them and will help them to the best of my ability.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Masters degree and I specialize in elementary Reading and Mathematics. I have several years of experience with after school tutoring and teaching summer school; therefore, I am experienced at helping students after school hours. I am a highly qualified tenured educator. I am highly qualified and a tenured teacher for grades K-6. I have 13 years of experience as a classroom educator. In this time, I have taught each grade K-5. I have experiences of my students scoring the highest on their benchmark assessments. My students also enjoy attending school which I believe is vitally important to the success of students. Even in an online platform, students need to enjoy their time learning. As an educator, I have been asked to lead professional developments for other educators and have been a mentor teacher for new and experienced educators. I have several years of experience with after school tutoring and also teaching summer school because I am determined to help students learn
