Hello! I am Mrs. Garza. Online learning, I think, is the best teaching and learning opportunity for all students. We each have our own style, and I'm here to help figure out your style and develop learning skills. I LOVE to incorporate every day life situations into lessons making them meaningful and with purpose. I have been experienced with online learning for 3 years now. Many more years in brick and mortar classrooms. I have been teaching since 2002. Let's make learning fun, break it down and let us shine! My goal as a tutor is to help all students actualize their abilities as learners. I believe everybody is capable of learning. My passion is to instill confidence and see students discover how much fun it is to learn. I incorporate science and math in my every day life through my lifestyle as an off-grid homesteader, a certified organic farmer, and herbalist. You too can apply what you learn to your lifestyle.

Teacher Specialization

My 15+ years of experience includes teaching in public school districts, and online learning. I also tutored many students in person and online throughout my teaching career when they need that extra one on one. Throughout my career I have worked for 2 school districts and 1 online learning school. I have taught all subjects in the Elementary level, and helped many afterschool upper level grades. I have my Interdisciplinary Studies BA from the University of the Incarnate Word.
