Bio
I have been working in the education field for over six years, starting in 2019. I chose to pursue a career as an educator while earning a Master’s Degree in the Teaching Arts, focusing on secondary science. Additionally, I obtained a Teaching Certificate in secondary Biology in 2024. I prefer to be a facilitator while applying the academic teaching techniques I have learned during my instruction and tutoring. My goal is to identify the most effective methods for specific situations to create a positive learning environment that yields positive learning outcomes. I also pay close attention to students' reactions during lessons to understand better how to enhance their motivation and engagement in learning. Each student presents unique learning requirements, which necessitate a diverse set of teaching skills and techniques. It is essential to me to observe students as they learn to identify more effective strategies to improve teaching efficiency.
Teacher Specialization
I possess a robust background in science, enabling me to offer a diverse range of teaching content for students from K5 to K12 in subjects such as chemistry & AP chemistry, biology & AP biology, and core math. Additionally, as a native Chinese speaker, I am fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese, allowing me to provide an authentic Chinese learning experience for students of all ages.
