I believe students learn best in a supportive, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and learning from mistakes. Every student brings unique strengths to the learning process, and I strive to recognize those strengths while providing the guidance and support needed to overcome challenges and achieve growth. I view tutoring as a process of scaffolding—providing the right level of support until students develop the confidence and skills to succeed independently. My role is to encourage, challenge, and empower students as they work toward their goals. Whether a student needs help filling knowledge gaps, strengthening study habits, improving grades, building confidence, or developing problem-solving skills, I tailor instruction to meet their individual needs. I have nine years of experience in education, serving students across a variety of grade levels and learning environments. My classroom teaching experience includes Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 4th Grade, followed by six years in virtual education teaching 5th and 4th Grade students. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote academic growth and achievement. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University and later completed the Teacher Certification Program at the University of Texas at Dallas. I hold Texas certifications in Core Subjects EC–6, Special Education EC–12, and English as a Second Language (ESL), equipping me to effectively support diverse learners and meet the needs of all students.
