Bio

Hello and welcome. I've been a teach for fifteen years, a tutor for twenty. I have my degree in mathematics, but I also love to write. I was a screenwriter for a number of years and got to work on set for some movie projects. It was a blast! I believe that everyone has an autodidact in them. What that means is that I'm here to teach and guide you, but I'm also here to give you the skills to support your own learning. I play guitar, I played competitive Scrabble for a number of years, and I was a college basketball player back in the day. I have plenty more hobbies and love learning new things. I look forward to working with you.

Teacher Specialization

I have taught at the middle school, high school, and community college levels in Massachusetts, New Mexico, Texas, and Maine. I'm familiar with the pertinent state curricula in addition to the Common Core curriculum. I'm an experienced programmer in Python 3 as well and have tutored that in addition to mathematics. I currently teach dual enrollment Technical Mathematics at a CTE school and College Algebra at the college level.
