Bio
Hello. My name is John Ramsey and I retired four years ago but have continued to work with and case manage students in the virtual setting. I have taught in grades K - 12 and have taught in all subject areas. I am a firm believer that everyone can learn and that the keys to success is patience and communication. My goal is to help those to be comfortable and to not be afraid to ask questions.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a Special Education teacher for over 20 years. I have my master’s degree in Special Education as well as a post graduate certificate in Special Education Administration. Prior to retiring, I worked in brick-and-mortar schools at all grade levels and after retiring, for the last 5 school years, I have been a Special Education case manager and teacher in the virtual setting. While working in the virtual setting, I had been the long-term substitute (3 years) for a subtemperate math for k - 5 students, assisting those that needed additional help from number sense to division problems while also maintaining a case load of students who are on Individual Education Programs (IEP's).
