Bio
Hi, my name is Josh Werley and my students normally refer to me as Mr. W or Mr. Werley. I am a younger teacher who attended Ball State University for Elementary Education. In my free time I enjoy being involved in something active like walking my dog or going to the gym, but when there are gloomy days out and I've completed all of my responsibilities, I like to play video games. Inside of the classroom I am a balanced teacher between traditional and interactive because when I was in school, I was able to teach myself a lot, sometimes more than what our teacher had time for in class. I strive to focus on students' learning abilities (kinesthetic, auditory, visual) so that I know what will help them learn most effectively.
Teacher Specialization
I am in my third year of teaching. When I started teaching, I always aspired to be the best teacher I could be, but realized there is also a subsequent level for that success, and that is through individual learning because not all knowledge is retained by every single student in the classroom. So I am here for those underdogs who need help rather than being looked at second.
