Bio
Hi, my name is Josie Wudski! I have had a heart for teaching since I was a young girl. I truly believe every child can accomplish great things, just some need different tools to get them there. I was given many impact awards over my three years of being a teacher, the awards were voted on by my peers and parents. I was nominated for teacher of the year by many parents as well.
Teacher Specialization
I was a nanny for a child with down syndrome for 3 years. During the covid years, I helped the child with virtual school on a daily basis. I then was a substitute for a year, before graduating college and obtaining my teaching license. Then I taught elementary students for three years. I have a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts Studies, from Mary Baldwin University. For two out of three years of my teaching experience, I worked with many special needs children. I had about 5-6 students in my class who had IEP's and 504's, and worked closely with special education teachers to make the best plans for these children. I love working with any and all children. I have also worked with some gifted children as well. All of this experience has helped me differentiate lessons to better fit the student I am working with at that time. Again, I truly believe children have a variety of ways to learn!
