Bio
Hello! I have been a Spanish teacher for 28 years and am about to retire next month. I am excited to move to the next phase of teaching, which for me, is tutoring. I love working with students one-on-one and seeing the improvement they make from week to week. I cannot wait to meet new students and help them achieve their goals, whatever they may be! I can help with the basics all the way through AP Spanish Language and Culture and I will do my best to make it interesting and fun for my students!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught everything from exploratory Spanish through AP Spanish Language and Culture. I am proud to say the majority of my AP students have averaged a score of 3 or higher on the exam. I have taught in two different school districts in my career and they are very different. One is a poorer district while the other is wealthier, so I have experience with students from all types of backgrounds.
