Bio
Hi! I am Kameran Fairchild. I love my family, Dr. Pepper, sports, and funny movies. I became a tutor because I desire to help students dive deeper into their learning and to know that they are capable to reach the goals that they set. I believe students learn best when they know they will experience success. We will set goals together, and find ways to reach those goals. I want my students to know they are capable of being successful. My hope for my students is to be able to have those "lightbulb" moments, and for what they may find challenging, to finally click. We will always find something to celebrate in each session. My desire is that my students feel supported in their educational endeavors every time we meet.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a teacher for 5 years. In this time, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, with the majority of that time being in an English Language Arts/Reading classroom, but I have also taught Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University. While I do not have many "official" years under my belt, I have been involved in various academic settings for 12 years with afterschool programs, summer programs, and substitute teaching.
