Bio
Hello! My name is Mrs. Carreon! I am so excited to work with you and help you to grow as a reader and writer. I am an English teacher, and a mom, with a love of history and science. My Bachelor's degree in English was earned at the University of California, Berkeley, and then earned a Masters Degree in Education for University of California, Santa Barbara. As a military wife, I have had the pleasure of teaching in five different states all across our country.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for the last 21 years, both in the classroom and virtually. I have been a teacher for over 21 years, both in the classroom and online. I use interactive tools and real time assessments to help gage understanding. I create resources to help students with concepts they are struggling with, breaking large tasks into more manageable pieces. I am currently teaching 6th grade English in the classroom in Virginia. I have three years of experience with the 8th grade SOLs.
