Bio
Hi there! What I love most about teaching is helping students build confidence in their abilities. It's incredibly rewarding to see that 'aha!' moment when a challenging concept finally clicks. My goal is not just to help students get better grades, but to foster a lifelong love for learning. I believe that every student has a unique learning style. My approach is to create a positive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I tailor my lesson plans to each student's specific needs, focusing on building a strong foundation of knowledge and encouraging critical thinking. Outside of teaching, I enjoy tending to animals on my farm. I love finding real-world applications for what we study, and I often use my hobby to make lessons more engaging.
Teacher Specialization
I hold a B.S. degree in Geology/Geophysics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, and have over 11 years of experience teaching students of all ages. My background includes Elementary, Middle, and Preschool classroom education ( all subjects), ESL to business corporations in Germany, and as a Lead Teaching Assistant in scientific/engineering concepts at my university.
