Let's have fun learning!! I am a semi-retired professional, but full-time mom. I'm obsessed with all things "Tik Tok"! I love trying out new recipes, life-hacks, but the make-up tutorials are my absolute favorite! I play "Roblox" with my two sons and I love to read! I love spending time with them too, when they find time for me. Their names are Kyle, 18 (who's is a freshman at Purdue University) and Karson, 13 years old (8th grade). My youngest "son/fur baby" is our 4-year old Yorkie whose name is "Tayter Chip". We come from a HUGE extended family and are a die-hard sports family that loves the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls! My diverse background will enable me to relate and connect with ALL scholars. I am an e-learning-trained teacher who can navigate most learning platforms with fidelity! Let my years of SUCCESSFUL experience with teaching struggling learners to THRIVE by providing relevant and meaningful learning experiences.

I'm a 29 year veteran educator who has taught ALL grades K-8, middle-school ELA with District 299-Chicago Public Schools. I'm a licensed reading specialist and former Middle School Assistant Principal. Reading and History are my specialized areas and I am experienced in working with students who are struggling readers and those who have diverse learning needs. I am also a graduate professor who supervises student-teachers. Recently, I have started my own educational consulting firm.
