Bio
I am an experienced educator with a strong background in business education, entrepreneurship, and career readiness, with a special focus on supporting English Language Learners (ELLs) and diverse student populations. My instructional approach centers on student engagement, differentiated instruction, and real-world learning experiences that help students connect academic content to practical skills they can use in college, careers, and entrepreneurship. I believe students learn best when instruction is interactive, culturally responsive, and supported by clear expectations and meaningful feedback. In my tutoring and teaching practice, I focus on helping students strengthen foundational academic skills while also developing confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. I use data, formative assessment, and individualized support strategies to ensure each student receives the guidance they need to succeed.

My specialization is Career and Technical Education (CTE), with a strong focus on Business Education, including entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and career readiness. I have over 8 years of experience in education, working with diverse student populations and supporting learners across various academic levels. I have experience in both traditional and virtual learning environments, where I have implemented engaging, student-centered instruction that promotes accessibility and achievement for all learners, including English Language Learners (ELLs). I have taught students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels, with content expertise in business courses as well as reading comprehension. My reading specialization extends across content areas such as social studies, science, and math, particularly in the primary and intermediate grades, where building strong literacy foundations is essential.
