Hi! I believe students learn best when their individual needs are met. I value respect and transparency in my approach to teaching. Goals I aim to achieve are student comprehension of material and its application in the real world. My passion lies in a commitment to increasing student achievement and developing critical thinking skills. Students often describe me as patient, encouraging, and engaging—an educator who relieves stress and makes learning enjoyable. I enjoy traveling, connecting with new people and being a lifelong learner.
Teacher Specialization
I have 21 years of experience in education, including 7 years in-classroom and several years of in-person and virtual tutoring. Courses I've taught are elementary and middle school English, Math, Social Studies and Science. In addition, I hold a BA in English, a MA in Education and a multiple subjects teaching credential.
