Bio
I am an educator with 11 years of classroom experience, including virtual classrooms. I'm certified in Intermediate Math, Special Education, and I'm qualified for English Language Learners. I am passionate about creating supportive, inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed. My educational philosophy is that all students are capable of learning and growth when provided with high expectations, meaningful support, and a safe, inclusive environment. I focus on individualized instruction, relationship-building, and helping students develop both academic skills and self-confidence. These relationships are built by learning who the student is (pronouncing names correctly, interests, goals, etc), being consistent and fair, and providing support while listening more than I talk. My tutoring goal is to help students develop confidence in their abilities and become independent learners.

I've been in education for 11 years and 3 and a half of those years have been in a virtual classroom. I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade math for 7 years and I've K-12 virtual students in all subjects and special education for 3.5 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and I became a teacher after a few years in the accounting world. I specialize in supporting diverse learners through instruction in math, special education, and English Language Learning. With 11 years of teaching experience, I focus on differentiated instruction, targeted interventions, and individualized supports to help students access grade-level content. My work emphasizes inclusive practices, skill development, and building student confidence across academic settings.
