Hello my name is Kisha Hairston and thank you for reading by bio. My educational philosophy is that students learn best in a supportive, challenging, and engaging environment. I love making teaching fun. My goal of tutoring is to help your child build the necessary skills to become successful academically and to enjoy learning. I build relationships with students by getting to know their likes and dislikes, what their challenges are academically, their hobbies, etc. Building rapport will help build your child's confidence, trust, and improve learning outcomes. Outside of the classroom I like to travel, read, and spend time with my family. I look forward to tutoring your child!

Hi my name is Kisha Hairston. I am very excited to tutor your child. I have a master’s degree and have been teaching children for over 20 years. I have taught children in grades K-12 specifically in helping them build their reading and math skills. My years of teaching have prepared me for being the best teacher / tutor because I can effectively meet student's academic needs by using a variety of strategies.
