Bio
Hello! I'm Kristen Dodgion, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and develop a love of learning. My teaching philosophy is centered on meeting students where they are, creating a supportive environment, and using personalized instruction to help each learner succeed. I strive to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I look forward to partnering with students and families to help them achieve their academic goals!
Teacher Specialization
I am a certified Idaho K–8 teacher with over 15 years of experience in education, including traditional classroom, virtual, and homeschool settings. I have taught students in kindergarten through eighth grade across multiple content areas, including elementary education, mathematics, English language arts, reading, writing, and foundational skills. I have experience providing virtual instruction through live online classes, individualized academic support, digital lesson development, and regular communication with students and families. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Government and specialize in K–8 instruction, personalized learning, curriculum development, and supporting diverse learners. My background in both virtual education and homeschooling has strengthened my ability to create engaging, standards aligned lessons and provide individualized instruction that helps students succeed.
