Bio
Hello! I’m a passionate and experienced educator dedicated to helping students thrive both academically and personally. With a background in classroom teaching and one-on-one instruction, I specialize in tailoring my lessons to meet the unique needs of every learner. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right tools and support. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, recognizing their individual learning styles, and fostering a growth mindset. I strive to create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and making mistakes—because that’s where true learning happens. My ultimate goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to ignite their curiosity, strengthen their confidence, and help them become more independent learners.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a teacher since 2004. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. I specialize in working with middle school students, primarily in grades 6 through 8, with a strong focus on math and science instruction. With years of experience teaching these subjects, I understand this age group's unique academic and developmental needs. I break down complex concepts in a relatable and engaging way, helping students gain clarity and confidence in challenging content areas. In addition to academic support, I emphasize the development of study skills and life skills that students can carry with them beyond the classroom. From organization and time management to goal setting and problem solving, I aim to equip students with tools that foster independence and long-term success—both in school and in everyday life.
