Bio
Hi, my name is Krystal. I am 44 years old, I have five children, and two grandchildren. I love teaching and I love learning. I have two children with educational disabilities such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. I have homeschooled my children from Pre-K to graduation in high school. My philosophy is that a person’s education is the foundation to the building blocks to life. Knowledge is power!
Teacher Specialization
I have experience substitute teaching all grade levels including long-term and short-term. I have experience in public school settings and private school settings as well as home school teaching. I am familiar with the Orton Gillingham teaching method as I’ve used it partially with my own kids who have learning disabilities. I have tutoring experience privately and also in the past with the local school district. I work with kids on many levels such as mentoring in my current position at school.
