Hello! I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals! I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students gain confidence, be successful, and develop a love for learning. Once I discover students' learning styles and needs, I differentiate the learning and modify lessons to meet their goals.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in Educational Leadership Studies. I have eight years elementary classroom teaching experience in all subjects, mainly 4th and 5th grades. I was also a childcare center director and tutoring director of education. I have tutored students ages 5 through college in reading, language arts, writing, elementary math, study skills, homework help, and test prep. In the classroom, I have taught both self-contained and departmentalized, including intervention for reading and writing remediation. Last year, I taught 5th grade Writing, Science, and Social Studies.
