Hello! My name is Lauren Williamson, and I am a passionate science educator based in Fort Worth, Texas. For 11 years, my family and I traveled with the Air Force, experiencing life in Ohio, Alaska, and Florida before happily putting down roots in Texas. I am a self-proclaimed "rock nerd" with a deep, lifelong love for geology and the natural world. When I am not teaching, you can find me hiking, reading, crocheting, or spending quality time with my husband and three children playing board games and video games. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars and Anime! One of my favorite parts of being an educator is building positive relationships with my students and discovering what they are truly interested in. I became a tutor to support learners beyond my own classroom, spread my enthusiasm for science, and help students see how learning connects to their everyday lives.

I also prioritize providing meaningful, targeted, and immediate feedback so students can implement improvements right away.
