Hello! My name is Leigh Spooner, and I am a former classroom teacher with experience working with students of all backgrounds and educational needs. My educational philosophy is rooted in meeting students where they are and developing a partnership to help them set and reach their own educational goals. I like to bring positivity and humor to my tutoring, and I will work hard to make sure students always feel comfortable with me. My goals are to help you reach your goals!
Teacher Specialization
I have 4 years of experience teaching middle school students. I have worked with students of all levels, including gifted students and those below grade level. I have also worked for 2 years with students in a virtual setting. I have both a bachelors and masters in Education, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate. I specialize in middle school mathematics and language arts.
