Bio
My name is Mrs. Lenzaree Owens. My superpower is using STEM concepts and practices to make learning super-fun and engaging. I create children’s books and video games to help students succeed. My teaching philosophy is that engaged students will learn.
Teacher Specialization
I am certified in Engineering and Technology and Business Education and have been teaching since 2006, with 13 years in the classroom. As a STEM Coordinator, I have transformed ordinary science, math, and language arts lessons into extraordinary, meaningful, and engaging adventures that motivate and inspire students to try harder to reach their potential. I have taught STEM and business-related content to all grades k-12. For grades 3-5, my tutoring strengths and preferences are science, math, and language arts. For grades 6-12, my tutoring strengths and preferences are all business cluster courses and digital technology courses. I have 3 years of virtual teaching experience, and one year of virtual tutoring experience.
