Bio
My name is Lindsay Hargrove. I have very high expectations for the students in my classroom. I strongly believe in a growth mindset and challenge my students to be better everyday than they were the day before. I believe students will rise to the standards you set for them. I love to get to know my students and help to motivate them by making them believe they can accomplish great things one step at a time. I think students learn best from someone they trust and are comfortable with. I like to use small formative assessments in order to gauge learning and adjust to help the student reach his/her potential. I love the look on a student's face when I know he/she feels confident.
Teacher Specialization
I taught in a K-12 school for twelve years. Ten of those years, I earned the highest level of recognition for growth. The majority of my teaching experience was in Algebra, Algebra 2, and Statistics. I also have experience teaching Math ACT Prep, Geometry, and middle school subjects. During Covid, I taught both in person and virtual simultaneously.
