Bio
I am looking forward to meeting and working with you! I live in West Michigan and enjoy being outside! My hobbies include hiking, biking, researching native Michigan plants to put in my garden and now learning about birds and attempting to capture them in a photograph! I also enjoy driving to various car shows in my 1962 Country Sedan. In my teaching I take a data driven approach! All students can learn at their pace! I seek to fill in the gaps that students may have and build on the skills that they do have. I also enjoy helping older students connect what they are learning to their interests and life outside of school.

I have been a special education teacher for 15 years. The past 10 have been in the virtual environment. I have worked with a wide range of disabilities and grade levels. I have a master’s degree in learning disabilities.
