Bio

Content matters, but connection moves. That’s my teaching philosophy. Students learn best when they are engaged and learning sticks when they feel understood and respected. I aim to strengthen academic skills while also inspiring curiosity and confidence, with a focus on student growth both inside and outside the classroom. I build meaningful connections by listening, encouraging, and adapting to each student’s needs. My goal is to create a place where students feel confident to take risks in learning and grow. I’ve taught students of all ages in both the U.S. and overseas, which has fueled my love for language and cultural exchange. Outside of teaching, I enjoy biking, surfing, and finding new projects to create and explore.

Teacher Specialization

My vast experience as an ESL teacher working with English language learners from pre-K through high school, across all subject areas, has given me a deep understanding of how students learn and thrive. This insight helps me keep lessons clear, engaging, and effective in every subject I tutor. I also develop strategies for online learning that make sessions interactive and adaptable, helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve lasting success.
