Hi! I’m Maureen, and I’m excited to be your tutor. I live in Arizona with my husband, and I love using my teaching experience to make learning fun and meaningful for our 2-year-old daughter. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, which inspires me to create lessons that are engaging and full of curiosity. My teaching philosophy is simple: learning should be fun, interactive, and tailored to each child’s pace and needs. I focus on helping students feel confident while building strong skills in Reading, Phonics, Math, and English. I look forward to learning with you and celebrating every success along the way!

I specialize in teaching elementary students Reading, Phonics, Math, and English. I have 6 years of teaching experience in private and public schools, as well as online tutoring platforms. I also work with English learners, helping them gain confidence in reading and language skills. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education after 4 years of college, which gave me a strong foundation in teaching young learners. I focus on creating lessons that are clear, step-by-step, and engaging, using activities and interactive practice to support every student’s learning style. My goal is to help students build strong foundational skills while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.
