Hi! I am excited to work with you throughout this tutoring process! As a passionate and experienced elementary teacher, I am equipped with skills and resources to help your child succeed! I believe that academic confidence is the foundation of success. Every student learns differently, but everyone is capable of mastering difficult material if it’s translated into a language that resonates with them. I don't believe in "one size fits all" teaching; I believe in finding the specific "lightbulb moment" for every individual. My goal is to build up each student's confidence and independence, while bridging educational gaps and reducing anxiety around learning new things. I'm here to celebrate all of the "small wins" to build the momentum needed for big breakthroughs. I look forward to helping your child move from "I don't get this" to "I've got this!"
Teacher Specialization
I have over 7 years of teaching experience with students from K-5. Specifically, I've taught 4th and 5th grade in person, and students K-2 online. Within these years, I taught ELA, Math, Social Studies and Science. I've also taken part in intervention leadership roles and committees, so I am experienced with tiered instruction and ensuring all students' needs are being met. I am certified to teach Elementary K-5, but especially enjoy working on intermediate math skills and ELA comprehension skills.
