Welcome to K12 Tutoring, I am excited to work with your child to accomplish their goals within education. With over 20 years of experience and education, I enjoy helping students gain confidence and understanding within various subject matters. I loved raising my family and completely understand how important learning is for all in the formative years and throughout life. After our first session, which includes an introduction and overview of our goals, we will work on interactive lessons and prepare with weekly comprehension checks. I have tutored for over 20 years, and understand how important virtual learning helps excel students' learning progress due to the individualized learning environment. Teacher Specialization
I have over 20 years of experience within education as a licensed teacher and certified tutor. I passed 8 state exams within education on the first attempt with consistent study habits-organization of material-tutoring-various/multiple test prep Q/A (K-8 Math-English-Sc-SS, K-12 PE/Health). I also obtained the Health Endorsement added to my license because I have a passion for health and wellness. I completely understand how important preparation is for doing well in school and passing your exam(s). I'm credentialed as highly qualified in the core subject areas- K-8. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree with a Minor in Business Administration, along with a Master's Degree in Education: Curriculum and Instruction from an accredited university earning a 4.0 in all subjects. Virtual Education: Since 2009, I've worked with as a certified rater for state testing of Professional Teaching Examinations. Currently, I still grade state exams and teach/tutor grades 3-10/all subject areas.
