Hello, friends! I live in Alaska with my husband, where we care for our homestead, grow our own food, and host visitors from around the world. We love traveling in the winter to escape the snow. I start my days with meditation, yoga, and journaling, enjoy cooking with homegrown ingredients, and continue to grow through reading—both for pleasure and professional development. I believe every student can succeed with personalized support and encouragement. My tutoring philosophy centers on building confidence, strengthening academic foundations, and helping students develop critical-thinking and independent learning skills. I strive to help students understand concepts deeply rather than memorize answers, while fostering resilience and a positive attitude toward learning. By building supportive, trusting relationships and tailoring instruction to each student’s needs, I create an inclusive environment where students feel comfortable, capable, and motivated to succeed.
