Hi, I’m Melissa! I’m an experienced educator with 10 years in the classroom and additional years working directly with families as a parent coach. I hold both a state teaching certification and Montessori teaching certification, and I love helping students grow into confident, capable learners. My approach is rooted in respect for each child’s unique strengths and learning style. Whether it’s supporting early literacy, building math foundations, or guiding older students in study skills and organization, I aim to make learning engaging, empowering, and practical. When I’m not teaching, you can find me reading, crafting, or enjoying time in nature with my family. I look forward to supporting your child’s learning journey!

I specialize in supporting K–6 students with reading, writing, and math foundations, as well as study skills and organization for upper elementary and middle school. With 10 years of classroom experience and Montessori training, I excel at meeting students where they are and adapting lessons to different learning styles. I also have experience supporting students with attention, motivation, and confidence-building, helping them become more independent and capable learners.
