Hello I am Teacher Melissa. I live in Chicago, the windy city. I have been married for 13 years, have two children and a fish. My favorite hobbies are cooking, traveling and reading. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential. My teaching philosophy is preparing the next generation for the future. I think learning should be engaging and fun and enjoy finding new creative ways to teach students. I look forward to working with you.

I have been in the field of education for thirteen years and an online tutor for 8 years. I received my Bachelors in Secondary Education in 2011 and received my Masters in education in 2014. I have worked with students in grades Kindergarten through grade 12. I specialize in Math, ELA, and Family and Consumer Sciences and enjoy making learning fun.
