Bio
I am a very enthusiastic teacher whom strives to instill the belief in every student to believe in themselves to achieve their full potential. I have been awarded Teacher of the Year twice in my career and I was also awarded The STAR teacher award during the 2020 school year for virtual teaching. My passion is to teach and to inspire my students to enjoy learning. I believe every student learns best using multimedia . I will provide immediate feedback to guide and scaffold every student and meet their needs. Making sure all students make learning gains is my number one goal. I believe using creativity implemented with academics is a great combination for learning. I plan to always start class with an emotional check in . I also like to share fun stories and create ice breaker brain breaks. Besides teaching, my other passion is nutrition and exercise. I love to coach adults into choosing healthy habits.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education Grades K-6 with over 20 years of teaching both in person and online (All core subjects). I have a Reading Endorsement, Gifted Endorsement and ESOL Endorsement. I have over 15 years of experience teaching students with disabilities.
