Bio
Hi! My name is Morgan and I have been teaching elementary students for over ten years! I am a Highly Qualified teacher, certified to teach grades K-6. I am passionate about providing students with meaningful, rigorous learning opportunities, while giving them the tools and resources they need to be successful. I believe that all children are unique and require an educational environment where they can grow mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially. I strive to create this type of atmosphere where students can meet their full potential every day. I feel my role as an elementary teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. I aim to bring a positive attitude and high expectations for my students into the classroom each day.
Teacher Specialization
I have over ten years experience teaching and tutoring elementary age students. Most of my current tutoring experience consists of one-on-one, or small-group tutoring sessions. Some of my greatest strengths as a teacher and tutor are that I'm very energetic and patient. I lean on these qualities heavily while I'm tutoring. I think my positive energy helps keep students engaged and motivated with the material, while my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably.
