Hi! I’m Mrs. Morgan Thomas, an elementary educator with 11 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping children become confident, successful learners! 📚✨ I spent 8 years teaching in a traditional elementary classroom and am now in my 3rd year teaching First Grade virtually. When I'm not teaching, I am spending time with my two kids; Brynnley (5), Bryce (3), and husband Brandon. I specialize in early reading, phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension, writing, and elementary math. My tutoring style is patient, positive, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. My favorite part of teaching is watching those “AHA!” moments when something finally clicks! 💡 I want students to go from "I can’t do this" to “I DID IT!” Whether your child needs to catch up, strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, or be challenged, I’ll meet them where they are and help them grow. 🌟 Let’s make learning something your child looks forward to!

I specialize in early elementary education, particularly Pre-K through 3rd grade, with extensive experience teaching First Grade. With 11 years in education, including 8 years in a traditional classroom and 3 years teaching virtually, I understand how to engage learners in both in-person and online settings. My strongest areas include, phonics, phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, number sense, addition, subtraction, and foundational math skills. I have extensive training in the Science of Reading and use research-based strategies, explicit instruction, modeling, repetition, and hands-on practice to help skills stick. I am experienced in using assessment data to identify learning gaps and provide targeted instruction based on each child’s needs. Most importantly, I believe academic growth and confidence go hand in hand, and I strive to help every student feel successful, capable, and excited to learn! 🌟
