Bio
Hello! My name is Nakisha Ross. My educational philosophy is based on my uncompromising belief that all students can learn, given a safe and positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging community, and supportive family. In order words, it takes a village! I would love to be a part of your village. In my tutoring sessions, I utilize a variety of insructional strategies in order to meet all students' differentiated learning needs. My goal is to meet my students where they are and move them forward.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Educational Administration. During my 22 years as an educator, I've taught all grades and content areas at both the primary and intermediate level. I've served as a Private School Principal, Literacy Coach, and Assistant Principal. My educational experiences have afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people in order to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement.
