Bio
Hi! My name is Nichole. I live in northwest Georgia with my kiddos and my wonderful Daddy. I have three amazing children that are 18, 16 and 14. My two boys are the oldest and my daughter is the youngest. I enjoy almost anything outdoors. I love the water! We have lots of rivers and lakes around here. I love nature in general. I would not want to live somewhere without greenery. I also love movies. Especially action movies and I am a HUGE Marvel fan! I played soccer for seven years, coached for two. I was always in clubs, and I also did pageants in my teens. My educational philosophy is that I believe that all students ARE capable of learning anything! My goal for tutoring is that I want to make sure that you will be passionate about learning, for you to learn and realize that YOU can do it while having fun with learning at the same time. I connect with my students by getting to know them and developing a relationship built on trust.
Teacher Specialization
I taught 6-8 grade Math for one year, 7th grade Math and Social Studies for two years, 8th grade Math for nine years and PreK for two years. I have tutored in person, and I also have taught online for two years. My Associate's degree is in Graphic Design, My Bachelor's degree is in Middle Grades Math and Social Studies and my Master's Degree is in Instructional Technology for Education. I am also certified to teach Birth-Kindergarten. I feel that students learn best based off their interests. I want to deepen their knowledge and show them different ways that they can use what they are learning in their future. After students do sessions with me, I want them to be excited and look forward to coming back to the next one. Learning should be fun and not boring and mundane. One of my specialties is to engage students by figuring out what works best for them. I look forward to working with you soon!
