I am a dedicated high school English tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking. I specialize in guiding students through literature analysis, essay writing, grammar, STAAR preparation, and SAT/ACT English preparation. I tailor each session to fit individual learning styles, ensuring that students not only improve their grades but also develop a lifelong appreciation for language and storytelling. Whether it's navigating Shakespeare or structuring a strong thesis, I aim to make English engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelor's degree in English and I am certified in the state of Texas in English Language Arts, Grade 7-12. I have been a high school English teacher for 3 years and prior to that I was a substitute teacher for all grade levels and subjects for 2 years. I have just finished my first years teaching virtually at Texas Virtual Academy Hallsville.
