Bio
I believe everyone can learn; you might just need a different approach. I believe in learning through doing. I love doing projects and hands-on learning. I try to make everything fun and engaging but still effective. I love to have students think outside of the box and express themselves in the work we do. I believe the best learning comes from a meaningful relationship and that the students feel safe and supported. I have taught all grades and currently teach 5th grade math and science. I live in Tennessee, and I love baking and Disney!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching K-8th grade for 7 years. I have taught all general subjects- math, reading, writing, science, social studies; and I taught art as well for a year. I also have experience working with students whose second language is English. I have my TEFL certificate for teaching English as a second language. I have been teaching virtually for 2 years. I have my master's in Instructional development, with a focus on technology in the classroom, andmy bachelor's in Elementary education.
