Bio
Hello! My name is Noelle Rebain. I'm excited you are here! I truly believe that all students are capable of learning and that every person is unique, which is why all of my teaching centers on an individualized experience. I want my students to feel valued, supported, and safe to take risks as they develop their own voice through the writing process. I believe that we can learn more about who we are and what we believe through the interactions we have with the characters we meet and the stories we read - but I also want to help you develop your own story. I am committed to positive, constructive feedback that will help you grow not only as a writer, but in your ability to think critically and creatively about the world around you. I view teaching and learning as a shared experience, one that we build together. I want you to share your own unique experiences and voice - and know that you are valued and deserving of a learning experience that fits you and your unique needs.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for over 10 years and have taught at the college level (Freshman Composition, Visual Communications, Marketing, and Public Speaking) as well as 9th and 10th grade English and Academic Writing. I have extensive experience with students who have IEPs and/or learning disabilities; I also have experience with English Language Learners and Gifted/Talented students, specializing in differentiated instruction and assessment. I currently hold an M.S. in Education and B.S. in Corporate Communications.
