Bio
I am a passionate and experienced math educator with over 30 years of teaching and leadership experience at the high school level. As a math department chair and longtime classroom teacher, I’ve taught everything from Algebra to AP Calculus, helping students build confidence, master concepts, and achieve their goals. My approach is student-centered - I meet learners where they are, explain concepts in clear and approachable ways, and use real-world applications to make math meaningful. Whether a student is working to boost grades, prepare for standardized tests, or deepen their understanding of advanced topics, I bring patience, encouragement, and proven strategies to every session. I also understand that math can feel intimidating, so I focus on building not only skills but also confidence. Many of my students have gone on to pursue STEM majors and careers, but just as importantly, they’ve left my sessions feeling capable and empowered as problem-solvers.
Teacher Specialization
I have extensive experience teaching various mathematics courses and have worked with students at all levels. I hold a BS in Mathematics, and a Master's degree in Math Education. I am certified in the state of Pennsylvania for 6-12 level math.
