Hi. I am Olivia! I truly enjoy and value what tutoring brings! From the individualized attention it provides to those who are struggling or those just needing to be challenged, to the positive and trusted relationships it creates so students feel comfortable exploring and mastering difficult tasks, while also feeling safe when having to admit they are struggling and needing to ask for help. Tutoring is my passion as it establishes strong relationships and can dramatically enhance students' level of motivation and therefore promote learning!!
Teacher Specialization
I am a certified math teacher. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Education as well as a Master in Math and Science Education. Using pedagogical methods/strategies (optimal frameworks and techniques for teaching and learning and their execution) in my teaching and tutoring are what sets me apart from other tutors. Today I continue to learn as education expands and transforms new ideas, methods, and practices in the classroom.
